On 26.10.2022 Roland Schimpke, Managing Director of universalsolutions gmbh, presented the quality seal “QMApp certified” for the first time. Harm Jacobs, QESH Director, Frank Stawniak, Plant Manager Refresco Sittard and Thomas van Gestel, Manufacturing Director received the award for the Refresco Sittard production plant in Sittard.

With this seal of quality, universalsolutions recognizes the excellent implementation and application of the QMApp over the past two years. “We were able to reduce product lockouts by over 70% in 2021 and 2022 with the QMApp and had cost savings in the millions of dollars,” Jacobs says, pleased with the successful use of the quality management APP. “Quality awareness among employees has also increased.”

With over 70 production plants, the Refresco Group is the largest contract bottler (co manufacturer) in the world. The works are represented on all continents. The Sittard production plant in the Netherlands (Benelux) plays a special role here. The plant is the largest can filling plant in the Refresco Group, serves as a benchmark plant and tests and implements the QMApp for the latest technologies.
